Penthouse Pariser Straße

P°12, located in Berlin Wilmersdorf, displays an interior renovation and complete reorganization of a penthouse, owned by a famous Berlin-based chef de cuisine. Due to the extremely demanding and tense nature of his profession, the client was asking for a design offering a tranquil ambience and a warm haven. With a minimalistic approach in mind, CARLO established an extraordinary level of functionality while the interior is reduced to its bare necessities.

The entryway is paneled with walnut veneered acoustic boards, masking a complex system of hidden cabinets offering generous storage space for the residents. The perfectly proportioned open plan leads directly to the culinary heart of this haven. Breathing purity and order, there are no appliances visible in the space. The mobile kitchen units are designed to adapt to the chef´s personal needs for high flexibility and customized functionality, which makes it so uniquely clever.

A distinct highlight is the retrofitted fireplace in the living room. Made of concrete just like the side board, it fuses perfectly into a monochromatic color pallet of alternating tones of grey, black and white. Soft textiles and linen wallpaper add a layer of soothing warmth and thoughtful comfort, evoking an inviting and calming atmosphere. A deep-soaking bathtub and double vanity ensure a focus remains on wellness. Purity is key in this timeless space.
