S°27 is a newly conceptualized office space for the online shop of a Berlin-based interior decorator. The client was asking for a concept as lively and vibrant as the neighborhood of Schönhauser Allee, the home to various artists, local design and fashion stores and a wide array of international cuisines.
For this new fashionable design, CARLO drew inspiration from Miami’s flashy art deco architecture from the early 20th century. A delicate pink varies subtlety and complements a white wood plank flooring – the foundation for an exotic color pallet, which creates an incredibly fun and eclectic atmosphere throughout the workspace. Deep-blue skirting boards enclose this safe haven and amplify a feeling of comfort.
An expansive glass window provides the workspace with abundant daylight in order to stay focused and remain productive. The radiance of the incoming sunshine intensifies the energetic patterns, the tasteful textiles and the lustrous brass finishes. This creates an additional layer of extravagance that exemplifies the indulgent and whimsical character of the space.
