The K°88 residence finds itself between Kurfürstendamm and Charlottenburg Castle, also known as City West, which is one of the most prosperous areas in Berlin. The client asked CARLO to reimagine his newly purchased home in this old historical building in an English interior design way.
Art Nouveau wallpaper, inspired by William Morris, from the mid 19th century with clambering honeysuckles and passion flower tendrils is paired with with flowing curtains showing an imagery which even nowadays stimulates a deep-rooted desire for adventures. This curation of high quality materials provides another layer of depth and is quintessentially English.
The white artisan furnitures are meticulously restored artifacts from past centuries. Consolidated with antique double hinged doors, they are the perfect addition to the bright and uplifting color palette. Graceful Lighting fixtures made of brass underline the noble English character of this home.
